To Qualify: |
Swim 1 to 2 lengths of the
pool safely with a competitive stroke. Skill level varies with age of
swimmer. If you are interested in joining the Manistee Swim Team, please
give Coach Malstrom a call @ (231) 723-4164. Joining the Manistee Swim
Team is not a substitute for swimming lessons. However, if the
prospective member can safely swim one of two lengths of the pool and has
the desire to work to improve, he or she would be a welcome addition to our
team. It has been our experience that improvement comes very rapidly
in the first year or two. Being an accomplished swimmer is not a
requirement to join the team. Team size is limited to 80 members.

Monday thru Thursday 4:00 p.m. to 6:00 p.m.

Cost: |
$80/child which
includes pool fees, membership to the West Michigan Swim League, busing to away
dual meets, minimal compensation for the coaches and awards. |
