To Qualify: |
Swim 1 to 2 lengths of the
pool safely with a competitive stroke. Skill level varies with age of
swimmer. If you are interested in joining the Manistee Swim Team, please
give Coach Malstrom a call. Joining the Manistee Swim Team is not a
substitute for swimming lessons. However, if the prospective member
can safely swim & demonstrate skill level in the pool and has
the desire to work to improve, he or she would be a welcome addition to our
team. It has been our experience that improvement comes very rapidly
in the first year or two. Being an accomplished swimmer is not a
requirement to join the team. Team size is limited to 120 members.

Practices: |
Monday thru Thursday May 3 thru July 18, 2011
Session I (ages 10 & under) 4pm-5pm
Session II (ages 11 & up) 5pm-6:30pm

Cost: |
$70/child which
includes pool fees, membership to the West Michigan Swim League, busing to away
dual meets, minimal compensation for the coaches and awards. |
