Our head coach, Kelvin Malstrom, has been with the organization since 1989. He teaches the fundamentals using the four competitive strokes: Freestyle, Back, Butterfly and Breast. His philosophy is to encourage each swimmer with a self-improvement goal, using positive reinforcement in a team competition setting. The safety and well being of the children on the team is his first priority. The Paine Aquatic Center provides a lifeguard for all practices and meets and parent support chaperones supervise on the "away" meet buses. Our assistant coaches for the 2012 season will be returning coaches Sherri Wehrmeister, Lisa Kutschke, Kevin Danks, Wes Owens with Morgan Ott joining in this year.
