The Manistee Swim Team started in 1975 and is a member of the West Michigan Swim League, which is comprised of over 22 teams between Grand Rapids and Manistee. Our summer recreational swim program typically runs from the end of April to the end of July, at which time 3 championship meets are held. The Manistee Swim Team has won its division championship 10 times since joining the West Michigan Swim League 21 years ago, 1991, 1992, 1995, 2003, 2005 (tied), 2007, 2008, 2009, 2010 and 2011. We consistently receive compliments on technique, team structure, and sportsmanship. As members and parents of the Manistee Swim Team, we are proud to be ambassadors for the Manistee Area.
